MWC: Sony Ericsson launches four new products

Sony Ericsson launched a plethora of new and innovative products at the inaugural Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona.

Of greatest note was the X1, a very high end device aimed at delivering a rich user experience based on Windows Mobile.

The device features an innovative user interface on top of Windows Mobile, much like HTC's own TouchFLO UI.

The device is expected to be mainly aimed at the US, and will be priced around £250 with a target shipment of one million units in 2008.

Sony Ericsson also launched an innovative new Walkman and two Cyber-shot devices.

Two Symbian and UIQ devices, the G700 and G900, were also launched aiming to help people manage a busy lifestyle slightly more easily.
