MWC: LG unveils KF600 device

LG today announced the European launch of its LG KF600 handset at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The device’s main unique selling point is the ‘InteractPad’, which LG claims provides a solution to the difficulty of navigating through a modern phone’s numerous features.

The InteractPad has context-specific virtual keys that change to fit the task at hand. Its luminous menu keys guide the user through the device’s features, without them needing to memorise the functions performed by individual buttons.

The KF600 also boasts a range of features, including a three-megapixel camera, MP3 player, video recording, FM radio, and Bluetooth.

Dr. Skott Ahn, CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said: ‘The LG KF600 and the InteractPad reflect LG’s commitment to making its handsets easier to use through improved user interface technology.’
