Vodafone property head changes

Vodafone property head changes

Vodafone has appointed Billy Davidson as new group property director, following Mike Newens’ decision to retire in March.

Davidson has worked for the operator for seven years, having previously held the position of head of property strategy.

Davidson has 25 years’ experience within the commercial property field. Prior to joining Vodafone, he held a number of roles at NatWest, including shaping its international property portfolio.

Newens leaves after eight years at the operator. During his time with the UK mobile giant Newens’ main objective was to develop the company’s world HQ in Newbury.

Davidson told Mobile he is not intending to make any short-term changes to his property team. He said: ’We have a very committed and capable team, I’m not looking to bring in people because they are already here.’
