Joint owners exit Dial-A-Phone

Dial-A-phone joint owners Jonathan Beck and Richard Frank will exit the business as a result of the £9m sale to Phones 4u.

The two owners had been running the business more closely since the departure of former MD Andy Brown to Carphone Warehouse in April 2006.

A new CEO for Dial-A-Phone has not been identified, but the running of Dial-A-Phone will fall under Phones 4u’s existing head of indirect and telesales, Nick Fisher.

Fisher himself reports into Phones 4u’s head of distribution Brendan Sweeney.

Fisher had been at Dial-A-Phone’s Kentish Town HQ on the morning of the announcement of the sale (Wednesday), talking to Dial-A-Phone staff about the impact of the deal.
