3 spends £10m on advertising
3 has made mobile broadband the central promotion in its lavish advertising campaign.
The operator has spent £10m on advertising, including TV, press, outdoor, online and radio over the past three months.
It spent £2m on online ‘display’ advertising last year, which doesn’t include adverts through online search links which some experts say will be more than the display advertising budget.
More money is understood to have been put aside for advertising this year.
The 3G operator is looking to spend heavily this year to promote its £10-per-month USB dongle offers with the slogan Ð ‘Ready, Steady, Play’.
