Yahoo! launched its third product for mobile at the CeBit tradeshow in Germany today. The internet giant revealed the Yahoo! onePlace tool, enabling users to manage the wide selection of content available on the internet.
The tool puts everything that the consumer could be interested in in a single location from where it is simpler for the user to access. An automatic system will organise all content put into it according to the user’s interests and presents the information in a personalised manner.
The system uses bookmarks for different types of content, such as RSS feeds, emails, videos and websites.
OnePlace is expected to launch during the second quarter of this year, along with the company’s oneConnect product, revealed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.
Yahoo! also announced the availability of the third version of the Yahoo! Go application for mobile and revealed widgets downloadable on the application from developers such as Eurosport, Xing, eBay and MySpace.
