Vodafone back at Dial-A-Phone after Phones 4u deal

Online retail giant Dial-A-Phone is once again selling Vodafone contract mobile phones following the takeover by Phones 4u.

Since 1 March Dial-A-Phone has been selling Vodafone contracts for the first time since the operator had pulled out from the online business in autumn 2005.

But a return had been on the cards following the £9m purchase of Dial-A-Phone with Phones 4u being the only third-party retailer licensed to sell Vodafone contracts in the UK.

Dial-A-Phone is already selling Vodafone contracts with deals available on its website, through its call centre, and advertising being prepared for the national press.

A Vodafone spokeswoman said: ‘This is a continuation of our existing working relationship with Phones 4u after they extended their distribution channels following the Dial-A-Phone acquisition.’
