New camera phone photo-sharing service launched
A new service has been launched to allow people to share and store all their pictures taken using their mobile phone.
Adding a twist to the mobile blogging phenomenon, www.NowThen.com lets people capture photos in an online journal keeping friends and family updated with messages sent directly to their mobile phones.
NowThen allows people to send a photo and a short caption directly from their camera phone, to as many people as they wish, for the price of a single MMS.
Erin Laye, web creative manager at NowThen, said: ‘Pictures are a universal language, they communicate a thousand words in the blink of an eye – and that’s what NowThen is all about.’
Over 2,000 people have signed up and are actively using the site.
Camera phone ownership in the UK has soared to 75% of the population.
