Samsung and CNN in news application deal
Samsung has done a deal with CNN International to have the US news giant’s new mobile Java application to consumers, exclusively pre-loaded into Samsung handsets from June 2008.

Casey Harwood (pictured), senior vice president of CNN’s parent company Turner Europe said: ‘This move provides our audiences with easier access to CNN International’s first class multi-media news service.’

Jongkyun Shin, Samsung’s executive vice president and head of Mobile R&D team said:
‘By embedding CNN International’s content into our intensive range of mobile phones, Samsung is providing innovative new ways for consumers to experience and enjoy diverse multimedia entertainment through their mobile.

The roll-out will begin with the Samsung G810 5-megapixel cameraphone available in Europe from May and will subsequently be rolled out to other handset models.
