Consumer brand JML enters mobile retail market

Consumer brand JML has stepped into the mobile phone market with a new business called JML Connect.

JML, which has five TV shopping channels on Sky and traditionally supplies kitchen gadgets and homeware products to high street chains and supermarkets, will sell Orange and T-Mobile contracts.

Customers buying selected handsets will receive free electrical goods, including high definition TVs, laptops and Nintendo Wiis.

The incentives apply to a number of phones, including the Samsung D900 and Nokia 6300, available on Orange and T-Mobile networks. JML Connect will also sell prepay and Sim-free models.
