Judging has started for Mobile360 Awards
Industry leaders are being put through their paces this week as judging got under way for the Mobile Industry Awards.
The leading lights in distribution were presented to an expert panel of judges (the sales directors from all of the network operators) in the first part of the Mobile360 awards – a 360-degree appraisal of the companies shortlisted.
Mobile360 is at the centre of the most rigorously tested and respected awards in the mobile phone industry.
Hundreds of consumers and industry trading partners have already been surveyed in a wide-ranging poll in recent weeks.
Directors from the major retailers and operators took part in a series of judging days in central London this week, and the top bosses from the major manufacturers will gather next week for the final round of judging.
David Nunn, editor-in-chief of Mobile, said: ‘We want to create a set of benchmark awards, and Mobile360 is a thorough examination of the companies, with verdicts from customers and suppliers. You’re going to have to work very hard to win.’
Opinions and analysis have already been provided from City analysts and media commentators, who have assessed the financial performance and strategies for the best network and best manufacturer categories.
The awards will take place on 5 June at The Old Brewery in London.
