Vodafone to grow high-speed mobile broadband network
Vodafone has unveiled plans to roll out its high-speed mobile broadband network to six more cities across the UK. At present, its top-end broadband speed is only available in parts of London and major airports.
The roll out, which is expected to be completed by autumn 2008, will focus on Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Reading.
The operator also plans to include more point of sale information on how long it takes to perform tasks, by providing examples of the estimated time to download films, documents and pictures.
