Samsung announces new F400 music handset

Samsung has announced the launch of its latest music mobile, the Samsung F400, which boasts audio technology from Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.

The lightweight HSDPA slider phone will be launched initially by O2, Orange, Virgin,  Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U.

The F400 offers sound from a Bang & Olufsen and ICEpower slide up speaker, which Samsung says creates a ‘3D sound effect’. Access to the full music library is available at the touch of a key.

The F400 launch will be supported by a £2 million national advertising campaign, including print, radio and digital mediums.

Mark Mitchinson, Vice President, Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland, said:

’With the Samsung F400 we wanted to create a multimedia handset which allows users to share their music with others as a way of expressing who they are and the Samsung F400 embraces this.

’The handset demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to providing consumers with innovative technology which integrates seamlessly with everyday life.’
