O2 and Orange snap up Moto E8 ROKR music phone
Motorola has high hopes for its new music phone, the E8 ROKR, to help turn around the struggling manufacturer.
O2 and Orange have snapped up the ROKR music phone, with Orange believed to be bundling the device with speakers, and O2 will bundle free music downloads.
The device will launch on contract but is expected to make a big impact on prepay given its price tag of between £100 and £120. Tesco and Carphone are understood to be keen to bring it straight to prepay.
Buyers who have seen Motorola’s phones for 2008 have said a turnaround is unlikely for this year, but are holding out hopes for 2009.
