Samsung tenders distributors to run online store
Samsung is starting a tendering process for distributors to run its online store in the coming weeks.
It is currently run by Dextra (part of 20:20 Mobile), but the UK management is looking for a new partner, after terminating 20:20 as a distribution partner in March when it was caught supplying grey market Samsung products.
Samsung currently uses Data Select and Brightstar as its two distribution partners.
Samsung’s UK VP, Mark Mitchinson, said: ‘Terminating 20:20 has had no impact on our business in the slightest. We are very happy with our two distribution partners.’
Samsung’s next high-profile phone release this year is the Samsung Sleek (pictured), Mobile can exclusively reveal.
