Nokia runs roller discos to push music offering
Nokia will host the UK’s first outdoor roller discos as part of its Music Almighty campaign.
The Skate Almighty events will take place in London, Birmingham and Manchester, allowing up to 1,000 people to skate in major outdoor rinks for free.
Each event, which will promote Nokia’s music offering, will feature a DJ or band performing on a central stage.
Skaters will be able to weave between giant glitterball trees and statues while listening to five different styles of music.
Will Harris, Nokia’s marketing director, said: ‘Some of the best DJs around will play at the events. It’s going to look and sound fantastic.’
