Lebara Mobile has signed a partnership with Woolworths, which will see the high street retailer selling the MVNO’s airtime and Sim cards.
Woolworths will sell Lebara’s airtime in all 819 of its shops and its Sim cards in 525 stores nationwide from Monday (21 July).
The MVNO, which offers cheap international calls, announced a similar agreement with Tesco last month. As a result of the Woolworths deal, Lebara’s retail presence now reaches more than 90,500 outlets.
Robert Gaskin, UK country manager for Lebara Mobile, said: ‘We are very excited about our new relationship.
‘There’s a great fit with Woolworths’ focus on offering great value to families and Lebara Mobile’s award-winning pay-as-you-go Sim.’
Lebara has seen its customer base grow by more than 200% month-on-month since it was launched in October 2007.
