The latest version of Samsung's Blackjack, the Blackjack III, is rumoured to be nearing a final release. Observers say that it will emerge in October of this year.
According to the AVing.net website, the mobile phone has a full QWERTY keyboard plus a finger mouse and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Other features include A-GPS plus 3G HSDPA for high speed data transfer. The phone apparently supports WiFi too.
Connectivity is supported via Bluetooth and memory expansion is taken care of via a microSD port. The phone holds a 2.6in screen, supporting 320 x 320 pixels. A camera is reportedly built-in but is apparently no stronger than 2MP.
Also, known as the Ultra Messaging 2, at least in Korea, the new handset will reportedly work with Microsoft Office documents, browse the web, play a variety of multimedia files and read email. No UK distribution deal or price has, so far, been announced.
