Vodafone today announced its own music download service, ‘Vodafone Music’.
Customers can listen to a 30” preview of songs for free or download tracks straight to their mobile, purchase album art as well as browse charts for new releases, top downloads and local sales charts.
‘With Vodafone Music, customers will be able to make the most of the Vodafone Music store as well as gaining an entirely new musical experience on their phones, said Tom McLennan, head of music for Vodafone.
Singles will cost an average of £0.99 and albums £7.99. Vodafone Music is currently available on 11 handsets, including Sony Ericsson’s W910, W890, W880, W850, V640, V630, K850, K800, K770 and K610 handsets, and Nokia’s N73.
