Nokia appoints Orten as new head of distribution
Nokia has appointed a new head of distribution to run its consumer and business distributors, after its intense distribution review.
James Orten is replacing Mark Boyes, who is moving to a different role.
Orten was previously account manager at Carphone Warehouse. He joined Nokia from 3 where he worked as national account manager in the prepay division.
Orten will look after 20:20 Mobile and Data Select (the two consumer distributors), as well as Brightpoint, which was appointed as Nokia’s sole business distributor last month.
Orten will report to Nokia’s head of retail, Aaron Di Marco, who is part of sales chief Mark Loughran’s division.
