Samsung unveils new Armani phone, called 'Night Effect'
Samsung has unveiled its latest phone with Emporio Armani, called ‘Night Effect’.
The device is available later this month at Vodafone and Phones 4u, and will be backed by a £1m marketing campaign.
Samsung says the handset is aimed not only at fashion conscious consumers but also those looking for a device with good music functionality. It comes fitted with a 3.5mm jack, which means users can plug in their own headphones.
The Night Effect also offers 3.6 mbps HSDPA, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 120mb of on board memory and 1GB of external memory. One of the handset’s main selling points is the illuminating LED around the edge of the phone, which can change colour.
The device will compete with the new LG Prada, which was released towards the end of last year.
Mark Mitchinson, Vice President of Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland, said: ‘Samsung recognises the consumers’ need for mobiles that reflect their lifestyle. The Night Effect offers the young a phone that really stands out and gives them cutting edge technology individually important to them and without compromise.’
