MBlox appoints new chief executive

MBlox has appointed Andrew Dark to the position of chief executive, as it prepares for its next phase of expansion.

Dark will take on the role by the end of March and will replace Jeff Clark, who is stepping down from the mobile transaction network.

Dark was previously chief executive for London quoted DataCash Group and held ‘a number of senior positions’ prior to that.

He will now be responsible for mBlox’s scale and product range, with flexibility to introduce new services.

Dark said: ’I see enormous opportunities for mBlox, both in developing the global digital economy and in leading industry consolidation. My vision is to make it an even better partner for customers and operators worldwide, building on mBlox's global scale, its people and its financial strength.’
