HTC Touch Cruise 09 targeted for spring launch

HTC is looking to unveil a new flagship device this spring called HTC Touch Cruise 09.

Rumours of the device have been floating around on the internet for some time, which was previously thought to be called the HTC Lolita.

The Touch Cruise 09 will be priced at around 560 euros and will feature an advanced navigation system utilising the new HTC Footprints location-based service. With this feature, you can geo-tag photos and sounds, access navigation on a turn-by-turn basis and mount the phone on a free car cradle that will arrive inside the retail box.

Other features, according to the GSM Arena website, will include the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating System, a microSD slot to expand that 256Mb of RAMand a TouchFlo interface behind the 2.8in screen displaying 65k of colours via QVGA resolution.

Data transfer will be swift via 3G and HSDPA. Distant Internet connection is possible through WiFi and short range wireless connections to accessories is also possible with Bluetooth 2.0 plus AD2P. The device will also come with a 3.2 mp camera on board.
