Orange launches joint home and mobile broadband package
Orange will launch a joint mobile and fixed line broadband package for £20 per month after improvements to its broadband service.
The venture follows ‘significant improvements to the company’s networks,’ after the operator suffered a set back last year when it was named worst broadband provider by consumer magazine Which?
The new package called ‘Orange Home and Mobile broadband’ includes; 8MB speed home broadband, a free wireless router, free weekend landline calls and USB dongle with a 3GB monthly download allowance.
Customers can also yet the package on a 30 day rolling contract basis however, they must purchase the USB dongle outright for £50.
Asif Aziz, director of broadband and home, Orange UK, said: ‘We believe these new offers not only complement our existing fixed and mobile broadband service range, but also provide flexible alternatives to meet the needs of today’s 21st century customer - who quite rightly demands a premium service at the same time as best value for money.’
