O2 wins SAGA and AA contracts
O2 announced today it had beaten Vodafone to sign a contract deal with company SAGA providing around 1000 new connections.
O2 simultaneously re-signed its contract with the AA (Automobile Association) to provide all mobile service to all of the AA’s employees.
Ben Dowd, Head of Business Sales at O2 said: “Not only have we gained a valuable new customer in what is an extremely competitive market but we have won yet another contract from Vodafone. The services we offer businesses are extremely strong and we are excellently placed to continue to win important customers from our rivals. This demonstrates that we are going the extra mile to understand our customers and quash the competition.”
The SAGA group provides lifestyle services to those over 50 year olds. Paul Green, head of communication, Saga Group Ltd said: ‘O2 have demonstrated that they can supply us with a solution that meets our needs at a competitive price.’
The two contract wins come after Telefonica successfully won a €350 million contract with DHL owners Deutsche Post World Net last week, its largest ever business contract. The deal spans 28 countries for 125,000 employees at 240 sites.
