O2 to offer three Samsung laptops in its Connected World
O2 will launch a new laptop bundle next month, which will feature three Samsung branded laptops.
These laptops, which will be tiered as low-end, mid-range and top of the range packages according to specification, will form a central part of O2’s ‘Connected World’ marketing campaign.
Details of the packages will be disclosed in the coming weeks, but the operator will bundle a combination of mobile broadband and fixed-line broadband, as well as tapping into O2’s Wi-Fi deals with the likes of The Cloud and BT Openzone.
O2 has previously underlined its belief in allowing customers a choice of internet and communication access across a range of portfolios.
It is also believed that O2 will start offering customers home phones that use a fixed-line connection.
A spokesman declined to comment on the details but said: ‘It’s no secret that we’re doing things around laptops.’
Separately, O2 will launch a new £20-per-month, Sim-only mobile tariff, but on a 12-month contract, which is rich in minutes and texts, to tap into the growing number of deal-seekers in the market and counter the cheap deals offered by 3.
