MWC: HTC unveils QWERTY keyboard Touch Pro 2
HTC has unveiled the HTC Touch Pro 2 at Mobile World Congress, a QWERTY keyboard business device with a full touch screen.
The Touch Pro 2 features push internet, which keeps favourite websites ‘on call' for a zero-waiting web experience, and HTC's ‘Straight Talk’, which pumps up speakerphone sound.
The device also features enhanced HTC TouchFlo 3D. The manufacturer says it has improved the uer interface system with larger touch-focus areas on the screen, and by adding one-tap access buttons to messaging, email photos, music and weather on the top-level menu.
The Touch Pro 2 also has ‘people-centric' communication view, which sorts communication history by contact, whether voice, email or SMS.
Other specs include a 3.6-inch TFT screen with WVGA resolution for hi-def media viewing, a tilt screen, GPS, HSDPA support and slide-out full QWERTY.
The Touch pro 2 will be available in early summer. HTC announced the device alongside the HTC Diamond 2 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
