Samsung is launching two music touch-screen phones, the BEAT DJ and BEAT DISC. The phones will launch in the second quarter of this year.
Both handsets are designed for music lovers, and offer the latest mobile audio technology in designs inspired by iconic jukebox imagery.
The phones run on Samsung’s DISC User Interface, and are fully loaded with Bang & Olufsen audio technology as well as advanced music application for finding, purchasing and recommending music.
Samsung’s executive vice president and head of mobile communication division, JK Shin, said: ‘The Samsung BEAT Edition handsets will take music on mobile phones to a whole new level of quality and exciting user experience.
'With amazing sound quality and advanced music application, the BEAT Edition handsets will appeal to a growing base of consumers that want to consolidate their music playing devices without compromising on style, function and experience.’
The Samsung BEAT DJ allows users to create their own tracks. The phone’s full-touch technology and BEAT DJ application, allows users to ‘scratch’ the records on the 2.8” AMOLED display to create their personal music.
