Samsung announces new Omnia HD handset
Samsung will release of a new version of the Omnia with HD (high definition screen) called the Omnia HD.

The Omnia HD is a new version of the Samsung Omnia that came out last year. The device will come with an eight-megapixel camera, internal memory available in either 8GB or 16GB, GPS, stereo speakers and rotating display.

The new handset is part of a series of new touch-screens from the manufacturer including the Samsung Ultra Tocco already reported by Mobile.

JK Shin, executive vice president and head of mobile communication division in Samsung Electronics said: ‘Samsung OMNIA HD is an incredibly exciting product for us as it is a mobile perfectly suited to the needs of today’s consumers who want exciting multimedia experiences on the move.’
