Samsung has unveiled its ‘flagship handset’ for 2009, the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition.
The Tocco Ultra Edition follows last year’s Tocco edition, which the manufacturer claims was the UK’s best selling contract device in the second half of 2008.
Samsung said the Tocco Ultra Edition is the first handset to combine a full touch screen with the everyday 3x4 keypad to deliver a new user experience that ‘fits with the way people want to use their mobile phone’. The handset is the latest device in The Ultra Edition range, which was introduced in 2006.
The full-touch and slide keypad is accompanied by a vivid 2.8”, Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) full touch screen, which offers bright and clear colours, housed in an ultra-slim 12.7mm body. The enhanced AMOLED display allows users to watch movies and view photos with better contrast, higher definition and deeper blacks.
The full-touch and slide keypad is complemented by a vivid 2.8”, Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) full touch screen, which offers astonishingly bright, clear and brilliant colours, housed in an ultra-slim 12.7mm body. Enhanced Haptic touch technology creates an outstanding user experience on screen, and the enhanced AMOLED display means that you can watch movies and view photos with better contrast, higher definition and deeper blacks.
