MWC: LG reveals 3D User Interface

LG is debuting a 3D User Interface on its Arena phone at Mobile World Congress today (February 16).

The interface is touch-based and can change through settings that can be selected using an on-screen dial. It is built around a 3D cube layout, which can be flipped using a finger.

LG Mobile sales and marketing director for the UK and Ireland, John Barton, said: ‘It firmly establishes us as a leader in mobile interface technology and is the result of much hard work and research into what customers want for their phones.’

The interface will become the standard on LG’s high-end handsets after making its debut with the Arena.
