Nokia poised to cut up to 30 ad sales jobs
Nokia is poised to cut more than half its UK advertising sales division as it steps back its commercial presence.

The manufacturer will now focus its ad sales on other Nokia services and major third-party publishers. Reports said it is to axe about 30 jobs.

In June 2008, Nokia launched its Advertising Alliance, which it claimed would simplify the network for mobile advertisers by bringing a range of technologies and marketing applications together through a single interface.

The alliance consists of a consortium of mobile ad companies and brand advertisers.
