Orange attempts to grow online share with new ‘boutique’ area on its website
Orange is targeting high-end customers online through a new ‘boutique area’, which features 12 handsets.
It is aiming to grow its share of the online market by 20%, by 2010.
The network aims to give customers the opportunity to manage their accounts online later in 2009. O2 and Vodafone already offer such a service.
Orange’s online sales director, Keith Reville, said: ‘We have added a touch of sparkle to our current online offerings, rather than settling for the traditional linear approach to ecommerce that many companies take.’
