Vodafone returns with new prepay campaign
Vodafone has made a return to advertising with a new campaign for prepay after a long period out of the spotlight.
Vodafone cut ad spend by nearly 18% to £54m in 2008, as TV spend dropped by 12.7% and radio by 66% in May 2008.
The new ‘if I ruled the world’ adverts are pushing Vodafone’s prepay deals on television, radio, online and newspapers. It was first aired during the Champions League quarter-final on 14 April.
The adverts feature a Vodafone prepay offer called freedom packs. The lowest priced pack is a £10 top-up, which includes the equivalent of £50 worth of minutes and texts.
