Phones 4u unveils new multi-platform marketing campaign

Phones 4u is poised to launch a radical new marketing campaign.

The advertising will be Phones 4u marketing director Russell Braterman’s (pictured) first major push since joining the company in November 2008.

The marketing will be a multi-platform attack using billboards, television and online in a viral campaign. Ideas were being clarified in commercial meetings this week and some elements are yet to be finalised.

The adverts will cajole customers on their ‘street cred’ by banning them from buying a handset from Phones 4u if they have less than 50 contacts in their phone book.

Phones 4u declined to comment.
