Orange gets Samsung i8910 HD exclusive

Orange will be the first UK network to launch the Samsung i8910 HD, a handset that features the world's first HD video camera in a mobile phone.
The Samsung i8910 HD - unveiled at MWC under the name 'Omnia HD' – will be known by its model number.
The handset is a full touchscreen phone that aims to bring together style, multimedia and business performance in one device. Users can also access super fast internet, and the 3.7" auto-rotating display allows PC-like web-surfing on the phone.
The Samsung i8910 HD is available immediately for free from Orange on a 24 month, £40 per month contact. The package includes 1,200 call minutes per month, unlimited texts, Orange Maps and anytime mobile internet browsing as well as premier customer service support.
Samsung Mobile's vice president of the UK and Ireland, Mark Mitchinson, said: 'To say the Samsung i8910 HD represents innovation is an understatement. The Samsung i8910 HD is the world's first mobile to have HD video recording as well as having the world's largest AMOLED screen for a mobile phone.
‘You can therefore shoot your own videos in HD and view them in high quality instantly. Furthermore, the multimedia and business functionality with the customary Samsung style means it has features to suit everyone.’
