‘Roll up, roll up for Nokia 5800 swap deal’
Nokia sold its 5800 Comes With Music device Sim-free to 100 consumers for half of its £299 price tag, in exchange for an old MP3 player and any mobile phone last week (22 May).
The offer took place for one hour in Nokia’s flagship Regent Street store, with Motorola V3s and iPods the most popular exchange combination. Nokia’s general manager, Mark Loughran (pictured), was present on the day.
The 5800 loaded with Nokia’s unlimited music service is available from Orange and Phones 4u from this weekend.
