New iPhone will have improved memory and camera
Apple’s long-awaited upgrade to the iPhone 3G has been announced, with new features such as a 32GB memory option and 3-megapixel camera.
The new phone will also have better battery life and security enhancements aimed at improving its functionality.
New features include:
- A 3-mega pixel autofocus camera which allows users to record video and edit
- Multi-media messaging capability
- A built in Compass application
- TomTom technology
- Voice control
- Remote capability to wipe information from the phone if it is lost
The iPhone 3GS will be available in with 16GB and 32GB .
The handset will run on a new operating system, iPhone OS 3.0, which will also be available onto existing iPhone users.
