O2 and Orange join list of possible T-Mobile UK bidders
O2 and Orange have joined the list of operators that are considering a bid for the ailing T-Mobile UK business, according to reports.
According to the Guardian, Orange denied it had made an offer to buy out the company and neither network has yet seen details of T-Mobile UK from investment bank JP Morgan.
However, the newspaper reported that O2 was interested in examining the figures ‘if it gets the chance’.
Earlier this week, the Financial Times reported that Vodafone is currently investigating possible deals, in a move that would create the UK’s largest network in both revenue and customer base.
