LG partners Universal Music and Formula One for live music event
LG has partnered with Formula One and Universal Music to launch a live music event which will coincide with the Singapore Grand Prix.
F1 ROCKS will run for three days in Fort Cannon park, Singapore with live acts and with headliners Black Eyed Peas and Beyonce.
LG announced its sponsorship of Formula One in November last year. As part of the deal LG acquired exclusive designations and marketing rights as the official consumer electronics, mobile phone and data Processor of Formula 1. The multi-year agreement runs from January 2009.
LG’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Dermot Boden, said: ‘F1 ROCKS with LG will allow us to further broaden global awareness to build a deeper understanding for our style and technology positioning with an even wider audience that embraces music and entertainment as a passion. It is a natural fit for us to become part of such a premium global music event.’
