Orange has announced a range of new mobile broadband tariffs including a £4.89 a month deal.
The operator claims the tariff, which customers must make a commitment to over 18 months, is the lowest on the market.
The package is aimed at light users and includes a free Huawei dongle and a data usage allowance of 500mb a month.
Orange has also introduced the ‘early bird tariff’, which allows customers’ unlimited mobile broadband use between midnight and 9am. The tariff starts at a minimum price of £13 a month and a data allowance of 1GB, 3GB or 10GB.
A monthly cap has also been put in place and customers will not be charged more than £40 a month if they go over the data allowance of the contract when using the mobile broadband in the UK .
Director of broadband and home, Asif Aziz (pictured), said: ‘We are committed to building our mobile broadband portfolio so it provides customers with a range of flexible solutions to suit the lifestyle they choose. We also want to ensure we reward existing Orange customers, and believe that by offering them the cheapest pay monthly mobile broadband on the market – we really do offer great value for money.’
