Sony Ericsson and LG to make late bids for Phone of the Year
With the ninth annual Mobile Choice Consumer Awards fast approaching, the shortlist for Phone of the Year is beginning to be drawn up.
An influx of all powerful, all doing high-end phones over the last twelve months means competition is fiercer than ever, and Sony Ericsson and LG could be set for a late push with the launch of the Satio and Chocolate BL40 respectively.
Both touch-screen devices pack enough firepower to blow your house down, and their launch dates just coincide with the Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2009. After rigorously testing them in the coming days, we’ll wait with interest to see if they make it on to the final shortlist.
A total of 17 awards, covering mobile products and services, will be given out at the ceremony and awards dinner on 8 October, held at 'The room' by the river on the South Bank in London.
The Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2009 is a black tie event for the mobile industry. To book a table, contact Colin White at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0207 440 3820.
