LG unveils Chocolate, the follow-up to it's biggest selling handset ever
LG unveiled the BL40 Chocolate in London last night, the follow up to its biggest handset of all time.
The touch-screen device will be available in black at Carphone Warehouse from this month on Orange, Vodafone and O2, on £35 per month contracts.
The BL40 Chocolate is notable for its long, thin chocolate bar-shaped design, measuring 128x51mm. LG is marketing the device as the first ‘wide screen’ mobile, and offers its best quality screen to date. The Chocolate comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, so users can plug in their own standard headphones.
The screen’s four-inch width means users can navigate the menu system or browse the internet with dual screens, viewing two menu items or web pages at the same time side by side.
The devices also offers 3G connectivity with HSDPA up to 7.2Mbps and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a five-megapixel camera.
The original version of the LG Chocolate, the KG600, sold around 21 million
units worldwide since its release in March 2006.
