O2 restructures marketing department

O2 will be making changes to its marketing department in a bid to become more customer orientated and move away from product-focused marketing.
The changes will see 10% of commercial marketing roles cut.
The restructuring is being implemented by Sally Cowdry, who has recently returned from maternity leave.
A new customer experience team will be created, the mobile broadband and home broadband team will be merged and planning will be centralised into the CRM team.  

O2 head of postpay Peter Rampling and Alistair Johnson, who is head of prepay and shared Cowdry’s position while she was away, will move into new roles.
