Orange to promote ‘Monkey’ tariff with hologram gigs

Orange will be staging a series of ‘hologram’ gigs in shopping centres across the country to promote its new free music streaming tariff, Monkey.

Artists including Pixie Lott, N-Dubz and Tinchy Stryder will be performing as holograms over five weekends starting in the Lakeside Shopping centre.

Orange staff will give away free Monkey Sim cards to people who attend the concert and £10 off any PAYG handset over £29, if they sign up to the tariff.

Orange brand director, Spencer McHugh said: ‘Monkey is our first ever PAYG package that offers free music to customers and provides a whole new music experience both online and on their mobiles.

‘The Orange Monkey Hologram Gigs are an extension of this new music experience giving audiences the chance to see some of the UK’s hottest talent in a fresh and exciting way.’
