IPhone 3GS users complain of poor battery life
Apple is investigating complaints
of poor battery life on the iPhone 3GS following problems reported by users
after upgrading to the 3.1 operating system.
Although the software update
offered a raft of new features, some users said battery life was adversely
affected, according to reports.
PC World magazine said that Apple's support forums are now overflowing with complaints
from iPhone 3GS users who updated their phone to the 3.1 software. More than
375 replies are now on the respective thread.
Apple is reportedly taking steps
to address the poor battery life problem, said PC World. The iPhone blog is reporting that some iPhone users are now
being contacted by AppleCare helpdesk representatives with a list of 11
follow-up questions focusing on batteries.
