Exclusive look at the LG Chocolate's new TV ad
LG is set to launch a new £5m advertising campaign around its new ‘Chocolate’ phone, and Mobile can exclusively show you the device’s upcoming TV advert.
The campaign goes live on Wednesday this week, first airing during a break on Channel 4 show Ugly Betty. It will be supported with the tagline: ‘The new LG Chocolate phone…the shape of the future’.
LG marketing manager, Jeremy Newing, said of the campaign: ‘We are very excited at LG as this is our biggest TV campaign of the year, coming in just under £5m.
‘We are making a big investment in TV, press, digital, cinema, outdoor and channel advertising as we feel we have a unique product with the new Chocolate BL40 that will appeal to consumers.’
The LG Chocolate is being marketed as ‘the first wide screen mobile’, a feature which allows the user to browse with dual screens side by side. The device, exclusive at Carphone, also offers a five-megapixel camera, 7.2HSDPA for fast 3G data connections, Wi-Fi and more.
