Lycamobile wins Sainsbury deal

MVNO Lycamobile has clinched a deal with Sainsbury’s to sell its PAYG Sim card in over 180 stores in the UK.

The deal will kick off with a Lycamobile sampling campaign at ten stores to showcase the product to customers.

‘We are delighted to work with Sainsbury’s and with their network of more than 180 stores. Consumers will have even greater access to convenient places where they can purchase a SIM card and top-up their credit,’ comments Rob Beswick, Lycamobile marketing director.

Last month the MVNO revealed it had achieved its first-year subscriber target of 1.2 million subscribers.
