Samsung unveils new Giorgio Armani phone

Samsung has unveiled its new Giorgio Armani handset.

It’s a fashion based phone that will run on the new Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.

Microsoft chief Steve Ballmer presented the new device, which he described as ‘the most fashionable phone I’ve ever had a chance to talk about’.

In addition to featuring the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, the new handset includes a full QWERTY keyboard, a high quality, 3.5 inch-AMOLED screen for more intense colours and GPS.

The Giorgio Armani device is also understood to feature a five-megapixel camera and has a microSD slot to increase the internal memory capacity, which is already a healthy 8GB.

A release date has yet to be announced.
