Nokia’s music service fails to take off

Figures leaked by a blog, MusicAlly indicate that the Nokia’s ‘Comes with Music’ service may only have 33,000 users in the UK and 107,000 users worldwide.

The leak will be a damaging blow to the manufacturer, which has been struggling with the music service since it launched in 2008 and has just reported a loss of £391m for Q3 of 2009.

‘Comes with Music’ is a service which allows users to download unlimited amounts of music to the compatible phones, which include the 5800 and N96.

The manufacturer recently announced that users will be able to keep the music they download from the end of the year.

Nokia refused to confirm the figures
